Keyboard shortcuts - Most computer users work with the keyboard faster than they do the mouse, therefore keyboard shortcuts can be a major time saver. If in the course of your daily work you use the mouse instead of a shortcut, you should consider trying some of the useful shortcuts below.
<Windows> = Opens Start Menu
<Windows> + E = Opens Windows Explorer
<Windows> + R = Opens the Run window
<Windows> + F = Opens Find window
<Windows> + M = Minimizes all open windows so you can see the desktop
<Windows> + U = Opens Windows Utility Manager
<Windows> + D = Toggles the all non-minimized windows between minimized and open
<Control> = In applications generally allows you to select multiple items randomly
<Shift> = In applications generally allows you to select multiple items in order
<Control> + <Shift> + In applications generally will allow you to use <shift> to select a number of items then <Control> to select another item out of order then <Shift> + <Control> to select a second set of items
<Page Up/Down> & <Arrows> = Can be used in conjunction with <Shift> and/or<Control> to highlight more files
